About Me:
Choosing the right therapist is a deeply personal decision, and it’s important for you to feel confident in your choice. Let me share a little about myself to help you get to know me better. I’m a mother, advocate, and adventurer with a passion for supporting others through life’s challenges. My career in social work is as diverse as it is fulfilling. As a military spouse for six years, I worked with clients across the United States, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of social work settings. From helping children with persistent mental health challenges in a secure care facility to serving as a mobile mental health responder, I’ve had the privilege of working with people in some of their most vulnerable moments.
In 2014, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. After six years in the mental health field, I achieved my first independent clinical license in 2020. I’m currently licensed in Connecticut, Colorado, and New York. I also worked with BetterHelp, where I developed a deep appreciation for the flexibility and accessibility of telehealth therapy.
With this experience in mind, I started Breaking Point Therapy to offer a more personalized and flexible telehealth experience for my clients. My personal journey and professional expertise have fueled my passion for creating meaningful change and supporting individuals as they work toward their goals. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your path to healing and growth.
